Negative thoughts? Leos?
I know it’s very hard to believe, but Leos do suffer from negative thoughts. In fact, they can be quite negative people.
It’s hard to believe because the public persona of a Leo is that of a positive upbeat person. In fact, these are the traits that make Leo people so magnetic.
They can go into any kind of situation with a lot of confidence. This is quite an asset. Why?
Most people are not so confident about reality. They know that they’re not in control most of the time.
This is why antidepressant and anti-anxiety medications are the top prescribed drugs in the United States for several decades now. We all live with a high degree of insecurity, lack of confidence, and deep feelings of inadequacy.
Leo women and men tend to look like they are exempt from all that.
They seem to have all the confidence in the world. They seem to have all the answers.
It’s very easy to take the side of a Leo because they seem to know what they’re talking about. They seem to know where they’re going.
Of course, this is all a show. In most cases, they are just as clueless as everybody else.

They like to pretend that they’re not going through this. They like to put up a very positive public persona that they are always in control.
But deep down inside, they are suffering. Deep down inside, they are dealing with really serious negative thoughts.

You like to make a big show. This is why you always like to grab credit. This is why many people perceive you as arrogant and full of yourself.
Deep down, however, you know that you’re not in control. Deep down, you feel that you have to adopt some sort of shock-and-awe tactic to make some progress in life.
If you open your mind to the fact that life is not about you, you will finally make progress.
Seriously. If you die today, the world will continue.
I know it’s hard to believe, but that’s the truth. The world has its own rules, and the world turns on its own axis.
It has its own agenda. It doesn’t revolve around you.
If you’re able to wrap your mind around this deep fundamental truth, then you would start becoming positive. Why?
You would stop beating yourself up unnecessarily.
You think you’re in control. You think you’re responsible for things happening. This is nothing but you simply being full of yourself.
In fact, you need to get over the misconception that the world revolves around you.
If you’re able to make progress on this point, you will become more positive.
You will be able to live in the moment and take each moment as they come.
You have to understand that the world cannot be looked at as some sort of black-and-white show. There are more than two outcomes to any situation.
By appreciating the many different colors and the many different shapes that reality can take, you can become a more positive person.
You can see the beauty in every moment. You can see the worth in every person.
Instead of trying to control situations, you simply flow with them. You would be able to achieve more if you think this way.
Try to Be in the Moment Instead of Controlling It
The main reason you try to be in control is because you feel that you don’t have any control.
This leads to a lot of negative thoughts because, guess what, you are not in control. You were never in control in the first place.
The only thing you can control is the way you perceive reality. That’s the only control you have in this world because the world has its own agenda.
The world has its own set of outcomes.
If you are able to be more proactive as to how you judge the signals the world is sending you, you would be able to respond emotionally in a more productive way.
Instead of freaking out or overreacting, you can see the big picture. You can have a distinct perspective that leads to a happier life.
By relinquishing control, you actually end up gaining more control.
I don’t want to sound like some sort of Zen Buddhist philosopher, but that’s the reality.
By letting go, you gain more. By giving up, you take up.
There is this weird duality in your inner personal reality, and it all boils down to what you choose to leave behind.
By leaving behind the expectation that you always have to be in control to be truly happy, you can do yourself a big favor.
You can start making serious progress regarding a deep and profound sense of personal happiness and contentment by simply letting go of any concepts of control.
Start controlling only your thoughts, and you would realize quickly that that is the only kind of control you need.
